Start strong: develop a low-stress work style NOW

The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to try out these simple steps that can make your workload seem more manageable. Start now to avoid feeling overwhelmed later in the year as you get busy with class, homework, clubs, athletetics...

Prioritize
You can't get everything done in one day. Make a list of the tasks you need to do, giving priority to the most important ones. Give yourself the option to finish some things the next day. Go through the list, checking items off as you complete them.

Take Breaks
Get out of your room or the library for a walk, chat with a friend, or just sit and have something to eat (without a book in the other hand).

Organize
Use calendars, note pads, bulletin boards and other techniques to keep yourself organized. Keep your work space neat and develop a system so that you can find everything when you need it.

Georgetown University Running Club

We are Georgetown's official co-ed running club! We meet for group runs and workouts throughout the week, race in DC road races, and compete against other university clubs. We're open to any and all runners on campus, so please take a look around and we hope to see you on a run soon!
